GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT GATE VISA

 

⚠️ Important Information

Gate visa applications can only be made by citizens of the Republic of Türkiye holding a valid Turkish passport.

✈️ Application Process and Required Documents

To help you plan your trip smoothly, we have compiled the required documents for the application process in a clear and simple manner. Preparing all documents accurately and completely is crucial for a fast and successful application result.

🪪 Identity and Photo Requirements

A clear and legible copy of the identity information page of your passport is required.

Your passport must be valid for at least 1 year from your travel date.

Additionally, you must provide 4 biometric photos (4x5 cm). If your passport was issued within the last 6 months, the same photo may be used. Otherwise, a recent photo taken within the last 6 months is required.

Important: For applications to Kos Island, a copy of your ID card (both front and back) must also be submitted.

📝 Application Documents

In order for your application to be processed, the application form must be completed in full.

You must also include reservation documents that support your travel plan:

Hotel Reservation:
The reservation must be in English. The names and surnames of applicants must be written in uppercase letters and without Turkish characters.

Ferry Reservation:
The reservation must be issued in English.

🛡️ Travel Insurance

The travel insurance policy must be issued entirely in English.

The policy must start 1 day before your departure and end 1 day after your return, ensuring full coverage of your trip.

💰 Financial Documents

To demonstrate your financial capability, you must submit a bank account statement covering the last 3 months.

The statement must:

  • Be stamped and signed by the bank, or electronically signed

  • Show a minimum balance of 30,000 – 40,000 TL

  • Reflect an active and regularly used account

If you hold funds in multiple accounts, statements for all accounts must be provided.

The account balance can be in TL or Euro.

For family applications using a single account, the required balance must be calculated per person.

If accommodation is in a 5-star hotel, the recommended balance increases to 60,000 – 70,000 TL.

📄 Additional Documents

The following documents must also be included in your application file:

  • Petition letter

  • Letter of undertaking

  • Green undertaking (must be filled out entirely by hand)

Note: The green undertaking is required for applications from Marmaris and Bodrum.

🧾 Fee Information

The visa fee varies depending on the travel region. Please contact us for up-to-date pricing details.

🧾 International Departure Fee

You can pay your international departure fee via the Online Tax Office or through your bank.

Recommendation: It is advised to complete the payment 1 day before your departure.

Important Notice
🇹🇷 TRNC Stamp Warning — Turkish citizens with a North Cyprus (TRNC) entry/exit stamp in their passport are not permitted to enter Greece by Greek authorities. Therefore, even with a valid Schengen visa, citizens with a TRNC stamp — including those with green or grey passports — are strongly advised to reconsider their travel plans.
🏝 Entry to Greek Islands — Passports requiring a Schengen or door visa that also contain a TRNC stamp will be denied entry to the country.
📅 Return Date Change — If there is any possibility you may need to change your return date, please notify us immediately after purchasing your ticket by sending an email to info@odek.com . Otherwise, changes will not be possible.
